Philips SHN2005 noise canceling – my new headphones. It works even without the mp3 player on.

When I got out of store tonight I turned on the little device attached and it was … SILENCE. The noise faded: I could see the sound of folding a newspaper; I could feel the sound of a car engine with my hand on the hood. It is not like not having the hearing sense and having all the other senses more acute. The hearing sense just transferred to the others.

I was listening the Wintersmith – Terry Pratchett in perfect silence. 512 minutes of beautiful story that makes me smile. I still have to see how it will pass the subway test tomorrow morning. Next on the list are the complete works of Orson Scott Card. Audio books are such a good invention.
