Paris 2006

Just a perfect day.

I arrived Sunday night in Paris and stopped directly in China Town. It is more vivid then Geneva or Lausanne. The food is cheaper. Proof is an entire night of just eating. I did not slept. Who was in the mood for it?

Next morning I embarked myself in faster then light adventure because the TGV was waiting for me in the evening. I started like any other tourist with the Eiffel Tower. Extraordinary. I went to the top and the city is beautiful from up there.

It was not a sunny day and the wind was strong but I stayed there and watched the city and the reactions of the others visitors. From being afraid to „no big deal”, from technical details to people just taking pictures.

Then I got into the metro. I did not use a map with me because it is kind of boring if you know your destination I stopped in a station named Edgar Quintet. It sounded good. And I arrived exactly where I want it to be: Montparnasse Cemetery. There are two Romanians there that you have to stop at: Tristan Tzara and Eugen Ionesco.

Back to China Town for a huge portion of duck and marinated pig. And again with the metro.

I stopped at Louvre. I did not enter because I am planning to visit the museum with the girl I love. I wondered through the gardens. I ordered my favorite ice-cream at Haagen Dazs and looked through the windows, as all the Parisians do, to the sea of Japanese tourists.

I walked to Notre Dame. It seemed to me more beautiful then the first time. Then I was under the influence of the cathedral from Cusco which it is unique. Maybe it will sound strange, but all those tourists making photos disturbed me. It was like I was coming there everyday and the only acceptable presence was that of the students sitting on the floor and drawing.

That was the flow of a perfect day.

O zi perfecta.

Am ajuns duminica seara in Paris si am oprit direct in China Town.

Asa decurge o zi perfecta.
